Letter from the President
Dear prospective and current students:
We’re thrilled you have joined — or will, hopefully — soon join our community of aspiring designers, engineers, technicians, and innovators.
For more than 110 years, Dunwoody has stayed true to its mission of changing lives by preparing our students to engage in “the better performance of life’s duties.” Our graduates leave Dunwoody ready to contribute meaningfully the moment they enter their career. Because of this preparation, our graduates tend to start ahead of their peers and often develop into leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators in their respective fields. To do right by this legacy, we must continue to deliver excellence to our students now and into the future.
At Dunwoody, you will learn hands-on, in small class sizes, using state-of-the-industry tools and technology, from caring and industry-connected faculty. In our classrooms, students complete real world assignments that mirror projects in industry. This approach is part of the Dunwoody foundation, and the reason we’ve been a leader in technical education since our founding.
I encourage you to explore what a Dunwoody education has to offer — both in the classroom and beyond. Take advantage of the resources and opportunities available to you as you continue on your path to an in-demand and fulfilling career.
On behalf of the entire Dunwoody community, I wish you all the best as you begin your educational journey. Please know we are here to support and challenge you along the way.
Sincerely,
Scott Stallman, Ph.D.
President, Dunwoody College of Technology
